On September 19th at 7PM (EST), Anabaptist World is hosting a discussion on Following Jesus in Confronting the Climate Crisis. The discussion will be held on Facebook Live and Youtube Live.

We highlight columnist Sarah Augustine, a Pueblo (Tewa) woman, lives with her family in White Swan, Washington. She is the Executive Director of the Dispute Resolution Center of Yakima and Kittitas Counties, and is a member of Seattle Mennonite Church. She is co-founder of Suriname Indigenous Health Fund and executive director of the Dismantling the Doctrine of Discovery Coalition.

I’m looking forward to listening in on the discussion – even though it’s early in the morning our time – and hope that you’ll join too if you have the time. On a sidenote, Seattle Mennonite Church is one of MCC Cambodia’s top sending churches having sent three service workers and two SALT participants to serve here.
