Late on Christmas Eve, our surprise last minute YAMEN participant arrived from Rwanda. Simeon was originally going to be in the Ukraine this year but could not go because of COVID-19 restrictions. Fortunately, we were able to get him a Visa to come to Cambodia.

There was a harrowing moment when he missed a connecting flight from South Korea! We were able to get him on a flight the next day and he arrived just in time before his COVID-19 test certificate expired.

Simeon is working at MCC partner Voice of Love, the largest and oldest Christian radio station in Cambodia. He’s working with them on social media outreach, English language programming, and special programming around peace and reconciliation.
