Two years ago I gave you an introduction to គុយទាវ, or Kuy Teav, the iconic Khmer rice noodle soup. It’s a traditional soup known throughout the region by various names including Hủ Tiếu in Viet Nam, Kway Teow in Malaysia, and Kuai Tiao in Thailand.
I’m writing today to give you a quick but very important update. Catherine can now eat an entire bowl of Kuy Teav by herself. Well, she needs help to get it into her mouth but she can eat the entire bowl. It’s very impressive for a four year old.
Just for reference, when we arrived in Cambodia a bowl of Kuy Teav at the same local shop was larger than her head.
Cool! And beautiful presentation! Very healthy looking too! Thanks for sharing! Hi
Very impressive indeed!!
