It’s becoming a tradition for us to join the ‘GSL’ team for a photoshoot in traditional Khmer clothing. GSL stands for Global Service Learning; it’s the department that our YAMEN and SALT exchange program fits under.
Simeon Ndagijimana (YAMEN participant from Rwanda), Clivia Avila (Connecting Peoples Coordinator from Honduras), and Andrew Neufeld (SALT participant from US) pose together in traditional Khmer attire during an ‘end of the GSL year’ photo shoot in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Ndagijimana served as the International Communications Officer at MCC partner organization The Voice of Love Cambodia Christian radio station. He served a variety of roles including writing newsletters, managing social media, taking calls on the air, and accompanying field staff to the province to record listener’s stories.
Andrew served as a Youth Worker and English Teacher at MCC partner organization Mission DOVE (Develop Our Village Economy). DOVE is a Cambodian NGO that provides community organizing, media, and network capacity-building support to communities and organizations throughout Cambodia.

I just realized that I never shared the photos from last year here on the blog. Opps! We did share them on Facebook!

Wow. You can really see how much the girls have grown over the last year! They are each at least a head taller!
Stunning Family Photo Shoot! Wishing all blessings for you! Amazing work that you do!
Wow!!
