ឈានចេញទៅ | Stepping Out

This morning we attended New Life Fellowship. We really enjoyed the song Stepping Out that, we think, was written by their praise band.

Peter walking on water is one of our favorite passages from the Gospels because of how it illustrates that a little faith is better than none. It’s true that Peter began to sink because of his doubt and fear, but how many people have gotten to walk on water in the first place?

Khmer with Chords and Lyrics

On our ride home Crystal noted how often Christian services here emphasize ‘do not be afraid.’ There has been so much to fear in Cambodia’s recent history. The Churchgoers have such passion and enthusiasm for the service – it’s sometimes hard to believe that Christianity was illegal in Cambodia until 1990. It’s only been 29 years.

Edit: I found a website – KhmerWorship.com – that has chords, lyrics, and more for Cambodian praise music. Check out the Stepping Out page.
